JMT section hike

The itinerary and campsites

I, along with four others are headed on a JMT section hike, starting July 5th. I am planning to exit at Bishop Pass, while the others will continue to Whitney Portal. This is my proposed itinerary and campsites along the way. Some days, we are not sure and have alternate campsites.

We are resupplying in three locations, Red’s meadow (day 3), MTR (day 8) and Kearsarge Pass intersection (day 17).

I exit right after Bishop Pass, so you will see the two rows in different colors for days 12 and 13.

Hopefully, the Whitney Portal fire is contained before we leave and there are no more fires when we are on the trail.
